Coventry

I finally managed to get out of the house today, taking a bit of time off my busy revision schedule and pop over to coventry for a few hours (revision for A2 levels,which are NEXT WEEK!!! it's getting rather intense and i hadn't been out of the house since monday)
My primary purpose was to buy birthday presents for my boyfriend but I got a few things for myself aswell :P

I'd been wanting aviators for a long time, so i just got these super cheap ones from the male department at H&M to fulfill my glasses urges (building up quite a collection...)



I like them but i also think they make me look like a mix of an american 'cop' and a panda...



Also popped over to lush for a few goodies
My shampoo has been a bit heavy on my hair recently so i decided for a change, and try out some solid shampoo - I'd been reading about the consumer reviews and Squeeky Green seemed like the best one for me (along with Godiva, but mum refused to allow that one because it apparently "smells like vomit" :S)



I also bought Mud Flats (breakout control!) it actually looks like a brazilian nutty sweet thing...mmmm *resists eating*



and Sandstone, to use as an exfoliator

Birdie!

I got my birdie! My dear Rosie bought me him as a (2 month early) birthday present for wearing to the ball...



He attracted a bit of attention...largely from people saying "have you got a bird on your head" but i love him AND he works as a form of defence with an uber sharp beak...

New Hair and leavers ball

Well now ive got no more school anymore and exams are looming in the very near future...but yesterday was Leavers Ball and i dyed my hair especially:



at first i thought it was a bit toooo dark but now ive washed it it looks more natural and i just love it and is a great change from having half blonde half brunette hair, probably something i should've done a while ago...

I am yet to find a nice pictures of me and my boyfriend at the ball but...here are my nails...



the ball was pretty good, seeing everyone in my old school dressed up was interesting / fun / amusing (especially discussing who looked worst :P) but it was a great farewell to 14 years of school life

(btw, omg how dissapointing was eurovision?! joint last?!?!!? we could have done so much better!! or at least Bosnia could have won...they were genious)

Mac

SO finally after searching for a mac for ages, i found one! Just in time for summer...

Mum actually found it for me ( I was originally looking for a navy blue one but i like this one too!)for £15 for gap and after taking it up as it was too long i recieved it on monday...




Last week of school EVER next week so things are a bit hectic at the moment, especially doing my art exam today and friday

Hooker Heels

I'm still in pain from go-karting on monday (ive learnt that if you speed up and then hit the breaks whilst vigerously turning a corner you make a satisfying 'eee' noise AND block people off so they crash and cant overtake - I think this principle can be successfully applied to normal driving!) but can't help but ponce around in my new hooker heels which ive been wanting/needing for a while (half price at Topshop is the miracle of size 3 feet)

Geek Glasses

I went up to Birmingham on saturday to see my boyfriend and mananged to buy the geek glasses i've been meaning to buy for a while at Urban Outfitters (they actually had cheaper ones on topman online though) I do actually wear perscription glasses but these are purely aesthetical. I was torn between them and a giant crayon, but thought perhaps i'd get more wear out of these...

Using my fancy pants SLR means you can see EV-ER-Y-THING but hopefully bad skin isnt noticeable on a much smaller scale!
